The tricky part is that the Trail Blazers will want a whole lot of value for a player who has racked up over $40 million in the last two seasons. Considering Lillard?s elite status, an assortment of first-round draft picks and a talent like Miami Heat?s Tyler Herro have to be expected.
But will the Heat give up a budding young star and their future for a superstar who is soon going to be in his mid-30s? The superstar can also command over $60 million a year in 2024/25. Therefore, both sides may be waiting for a more dynamic window of the Regular Season than the quiet offseason.
