To answer a question related to the best-ever rapper in the NBA, Damian stated, “Me”, backing his efforts in the music space.
His answer surprised the panel as they brought up the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s name as a counter. Damian stuck to his response, and what followed was nothing short of a Hollywood drama. As Lillard mentioned, “Shaq got mad“, and the two NBA icons went on a beef, creating diss tracks and stirring further controversies.
Looking back on that period, the Blazers superstar mentioned, “I respect what Shaq did as an artist“, before adding, “I don’t take nothing away from him“.?After this time, the former Rookie of the Year still backed himself as he believed his rhymes and songs were better. He then highlighted, “I still didn’t take it too personal,”?expressing his thoughts on the entire scenario. It’s all in the past now, as Dame looks forward to another chapter of his career. This makes us wonder about one thing.

Lillard has made his future known to the world as he plans to leave Portland in the off-season. The lethal shooter is a wanted prospect in the market with the Miami Heat looking the likeliest destination. Nothing has been resolved yet despite numerous talks as his current franchise handed them a long list of demands. Coming to his rap career, he has prospered well in the past few years. His recent gigs have even landed him a chance to make music with artists of Lil Wayne’s caliber.
