Kim Kardashian’s brand Skims is launching an exclusive collection for men. Skims has been valued at over $4 billion as of July 2023, making it one of the most valuable private companies in the US. The brand launched with a focus on body positivity and inclusivity. Promoting inclusive sizing and giving options for customizable loungewear. The brand has been credited with helping to change the perception of shapewear, which is now often seen as a way to enhance one’s natural beauty rather than hide one’s flaws.

Skims for Men are launching in a few days and professional athletes sport the high-octane launch campaign. After Neymar Jr., Nick Bosa, now an NBA All-Star, announced his promotional campaign.

Shai set his career best last season with 31.4 points per game. He is making strides off the court as recently he joins football sensation, Neymar Jr. to become the face of Kim Kardashian’s billion-dollar brand. The 25-year-old Canadian guard announced a promotional campaign for Kardashian’s loungewear Skims.  

Shai announced the launch date and posted a series of pictures. The Skims are launching a new segment for the Men’s collection, which is set to launch on October 26th. He captioned the promotional post, “I’ve always been comfortable in my own skim”. 

The expansion into the menswear space is a major milestone for the brand. Skims had previously dabbled in unisex clothing with its “Boyfriend Collection” launched in 2022. However, this is the first time Skims has developed a fully realized menswear line.

Skims capitalized on the opportunity

The launch of Skims Men’s comes after consistent requests from male customers who were introduced to the brand by women in their lives. According to co-founder Jens Grede, “Twenty percent of our traffic, and 10% of our customers, are already men”.

SKIMS Mens will introduce three collections: Cotton, Stretch, and Sport. SKIMS Mens will be available exclusively on SKIMS.com starting on October 26th. Size ranges from XS-5X with pricing ranging from $16-$54 for single pieces and $42-$98 for packs.

Shai’s involvement in the campaign highlights his status as a style icon. With a massive fan following, his outreach will help brands’ ambitions.
