Despite the popularity and wealth of Stephen Curry, Ayesha Curry worked her way up to a millionaire. The 34-year-old mother of three built her own restaurant empire and skincare brand. And, the celebrity chef also has two NY Times Best-Selling books under her name. However, on the successful journey of her professional life, she also has an unfulfilled dream. A Disney channel star. Even though she pursued her dream in her late teens, she had to give up on it later.
Ayesha has spoken about her unrealized dream multiple times in the past. Apart from that, she also revealed the reason behind giving up on the dream. Importantly, one reason involved the Golden State Warriors superstar, leading up to whether Steph curtailed her dream before their marriage.
Steph and Ayesha were high school sweethearts and later got married in their early 20s. But Ayesha’s acting quest began very early. She began her acting career at the age of three and also performed a brief stint with Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana.

Nevertheless, her acting stint didn’t see any future after that. Speaking of it in a podcast, she said, “I don’t know if the audition thing is working for me… I had never been in a position like I had to kiss somebody on-screen. I don’t know if I have the integrity in my relationship and I do that so I made decisions like walking away”
She further continued, “It wasn’t becoming a conflict, I made it a conflict,” stating that Stephen Curry doesn’t directly play a role in shattering the dream.
While she partly blamed her relationship for stopping her acting career, she also revealed another reason as well.

Severe medical condition puts an end to Ayesha’s acting career
In a 2019 radio podcast alongside Avery Fracis, Ayesha Curry revealed that a medical condition in her throat put an end to her acting career. She said, “I got this really bad case of laryngitis like to the point where I realized I’ve got nobody out here… Nobody wanted to take me to the hospital. I called my parents crying and I was like I just wanna come home…”
Before making that statement, she also revealed how she didn’t want to sacrifice her morals for her career. Nevertheless, it isn’t clear whether she left her dream unfulfilled because of Steph or her medical condition. And, we don’t want to conclude without proper evidence.
