With this impressive performance just after he dropped 42 points against the Knicks on Christmas Day, Wembanyama overtook Boston Celtics’ Kristaps Porzingis to set a new NBA record of 22 straight games with at least one block made and one three-pointer made. Porzingis set this record back in 2019 and looked like no one would break it, especially just a few years later, but now the Alien has one more accolade to his achievements, with many more to follow soon.
