The Vanity Fair Oscars after-party always draws NBA stars, but this year, Ayesha Curry was the one making headlines. She had all eyes on her. While Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, and other NBA names showed up with their partners, Ayesha walked the red carpet solo. No drama, though—Steph had a solid reason for skipping the Hollywood scene.
With Stephen Curry locked into the Warriors’ five-game road trip, Ayesha Curry had the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party all to herself. No arm candy? No problem. She lit up the event, turning heads without her NBA superstar husband by her side. While Ayesha owned the red carpet, he was out on the court, locked in on Golden State’s latest matchup.
Ayesha Curry gave fans a closer look at her stunning Oscars after-party appearance with a post on Instagram.

“Vanity Fair Oscars Party,” she captioned the shot, showing off her sleek black leather dress designed by American fashion icon Prabal Gurung. The straight-cut tube dress was effortlessly elegant, making her one of the night’s standout stars.

While Steph wasn’t there, she did have a few friends present there. Ayesha linked up with Lindsay Lohan, the beloved star of Mean Girls and Freaky Friday and Ayesha’s best friend. Those two made waves on the red carpet, drawing plenty of attention and even posing for photos together, proving that Hollywood and the NBA world can blend effortlessly on a star-studded night.
This isn’t the first time this year Ayesha has stunned everyone with her outfit. She had done it like 15 days ago, when the All-Star weekend was being held at her home turf, the Bay Area.

Ayesha Curry’s outfits have always been on point
During the All-Star weekend where every outfit gets dissected and influencers reign supreme, Ayesha Curry made an unforgettable impression. Amid the glitz and glamour, she caught up with Ajay Porter—better known as Mystery Fashionist—a style expert who’s interviewed Rihanna, Adam Sandler, and countless other celebs about their wardrobe choices. This time, he added the Currys to his All-Star Weekend roster of high-profile encounters.
Both the Warriors superstar and Ayesha dazzled that night, turning heads with their polished looks. But one moment stole the show: when Porter asked Ayesha to rate her own fit, she confidently dropped a 7. Now, if that sounds low for a fashion icon, you’re not alone. Even Steph, who was holding her hand, instantly leaned back in disbelief. He scanned her ensemble like he was making sure he hadn’t missed a detail before exclaiming, “Wow.” Clearly, he couldn’t believe she rated herself so modestly.
Ayesha quickly clarified her reasoning. “Due to comfortability,” she explained, highlighting that while her look was undeniably bold, comfort always plays a key role. Her outfit was a statement piece—a pair of Givenchy denim thigh-high boots, a sleek Diesel top, sparkling Alex Moss jewelry, and red leather pants from Fashion Nova. High fashion? Absolutely. Easy to move in? Not so much.
