Ja had played 9 out of the 11 games since his return, averaging 25.1 points, 8.1 assists, and 5.6 rebounds. With him sidelined for the rest of the season, the Grizzlies might turn to former MVP Derrick Rose and former DPOY Marcus Smart for support. They are the only two listed point guards on the Grizzlies roster apart from Ja Morant.
Even though their impact will not be as big as Ja Morant’s, they are the only hopes left for the Grizzlies this season.
