A cause for celebration unfolded in Denver as Jamal Murray made a return after an 11-game absence. Adding to the excitement was Nikola Jokic, reentering the lineup after missing a game due to back problems. Despite a surprising 6-3 start, the Rockets have struggled, posting a 2-5 record in their last 7 games. Although Jalen Green showcased his prowess with a perfect 4-4 from beyond the arc in the third quarter, it wasn’t enough to overcome the onslaught from the Denver Nuggets.

Right from the start, the Denver Nuggets found their rhythm, achieving a season-high 41 points in the first quarter and establishing a commanding 19-point lead.

Securing their third consecutive win, the Nuggets extended their unbeaten record at home. Nikola Jokic stole the spotlight with his seventh triple-double of the season, amassing an impressive 32 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds. Additionally, Michael Porter Jr. delivered a season-high performance, scoring 30 points. Jamal Murray warmed up to the NBA environment with 16 points of his own.
