LeBron James’ Arizona trip nearly turned tragic! Well, King James has already arrived in The Valley for tomorrow’s preseason game against the Suns. Losing 3 of the Lakers’ first 4 encounters, the 22-season veteran is desperately looking for a win. However, while he was focused on the upcoming game, LBJ received an unexpected welcome from a deadly creature, which could have possibly resulted in a highly unpleasant outcome had it not been for some luck and the hooper’s quick thinking.
As it turns out, there was a lethal Arizona Bark Scorpion inside the Lakers superstar’s room. LeBron James revealed in a video shared on his Instagram story that he somehow avoided getting stung by the scorpion by getting rid of it with a broom!
“Scorpion tried to really get me when I got out the (broom)! Luckily, I was walking with my head down and saw him creeping! Welcome to Arizona.” King James wrote as he showed the scorpion’s lifeless body lying on the floor.

Well, the Laker might have avoided a life-threatening encounter or at least an unwanted trip to the hospital. That’s because Bark Scorpion’s venom has a lethal neurotoxin that can potentially end people’s lives. As per a report, two people have died in Arizona in the past 56 years out of the thousands that get stung by the scorpion each year.
While it might sound like a small number, that’s because most Arizona hospitals are equipped with anti-venom to deal with such incidents. So, LeBron James dodged a serious threat by acting on time. And with that unusual threat now resolved, it’s time for the King to focus on tomorrow’s game.

LeBron James and Co. seek redemption in preseason rematch against Suns
It has been 10 days since LBJ made history by sharing the court with Bronny for the first time. Coincidentally, they were facing the Suns in that game. And the veteran even topped it off with an amazing performance, scoring a team-high 19 points. Unfortunately, that was not enough to get the Purple and Gold the victory they so eagerly wanted as the visitors ended up winning by 4 points. Adding insult to injury, Bronny James could not score even a single point that night.

While sharing the court with his son was a fond memory for Papa James, the hooper would have enjoyed it even more had the Lakers been on the winning end. Sure enough, he will be seeking redemption tomorrow on Kevin Durant and Co.’s home turf.
