Savannah James can't handle the Vegas heat—Is she right to complain or just overreacting?

Bronny James, the son of LeBron, has been struggling with a poor streak of form in the ongoing Summer League. Despite this, he has been receiving unconditional support from his parents and a few pundits. With his dad away in Abu Dhabi in preparation for the upcoming Paris Olympics, it has come up solely to his wife, Savannah, to fly to Vegas and show some support for their eldest son. However, as it later turned out, ‘Sin City’ may not have provided too much of a delightful environment for the 37-year-old.

Speculation that Savannah may not be too comfortable in Vegas arose after she posted a story on her official Instagram account, earlier today. Highlighting a meme from a TMZ show, she drew a parallel with the temperament of an individual as he proceeded to take a tour of the iconic Las Vegas Strip, but found himself drenched in sweat. Savannah certainly found this to be funny, as she posted a caption alongside the video that read “Me this past week,” with red-face emoticons.

The last 7 days saw the young Lakers roster go up against three different franchises, losing all the games. For Bronny James, his season-high score before today’s game was against the Houston Rockets, which only went up to 8 points! His most recent matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, however, saw some improvement as he accumulated 9 points by halftime. The same was accomplished by the player going from 4-6 from the field, but he was yet to open his account for assists, steals, and blocks.

Several renowned personalities from the NBA world, allegedly even Jaylen Brown, have seen Bronny’s streak of performances and questioned whether the player has what it takes to make it to the main stage or end up in the G-League. He ended tonight with a 12-point haul and shot 5-11 from the field. Nevertheless, Savannah continues to be present to cheer on her son. Her appearance hasn’t been marked much, with the exception of a hug she shared with LeBron James’s friend and now HC of the Lakers JJ Redick.

Savannah’s presence in a city witnessing a significant heat wave goes to show just how far a mother’s love can go for her kid. After all, no one else would’ve continued to be present there if it was indicated that they possess no ‘rizz’. Well, that’s what Bronny said.

Bronny James discussed his family members during a trivia round hosted by ESPN. During the “Who’s more likely to” game, he was asked to name the one who possesses the most “rizz” amongst his loved ones. To everyone’s surprise, the 19-year-old ended up naming “no one.” This was certainly a ‘Yikes!’ moment, given that if Savannah’s Instagram posts tell us anything, it is that she oozes class.

Bronny sneakily snubbing his mother in his response didn’t stop the drama there. During the later part of the segment, he was asked, “Who’s more likely to be late to a function?”. Without hesitation, the 19-year-old replied “My Mom.” While Bronny’s honesty certainly gave his fans something exciting to hear and ponder, we just hope that, for his sake, he doesn’t face a public taunt from Savannah!
