The holiday season is upon us, and NBA superstars are getting into a festive mood. San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama has taken the basketball world by storm ever since he entered the league. Not only has he been a dominant force on the hardwood, but Wemby has also taken over the internet with the entertainment he provides off the court. The 19-year-old dressed in a Slenderman costume for this year’s Halloween game and broke the internet.

Months after scaring the world with his Slenderman look, Victor adorned a new role this holiday season to bring Christmas joy early to young San Antonio Spurs fans.

Victor Wembanyama brings Christmas early to San Antonio

The 7’4 tall Victor Wembanyama dressed up as Santa Claus to bring Christmas joy to young Spurs fans. Wemby and his teammate Julian Champagnie partnered with the Elf Louise Christmas Project to spread holiday cheer and gifts to the young community. The duo spent some quality time with young kids and brought smiles to their faces. Wembanyama might now have become the tallest Santa Claus in NBA history, surpassing Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal aka Shaq-a-Claus. Apart from Wemby dressing up as Santa, his teammate Julian Champagnie was dressed as an elf.

Wembanyama has had a huge impact on and off the court in a span of a few months. He was one of the highest-rated prospects in league history, along with LeBron James and Zion Williamson, and he is living up to the hype. The league has never seen a player like Wembanyama, and he has the potential to become one of the Greatest players in league history.

All the 19-year-old needs to do is put his head down and work on building his basketball skills and IQ.

Victor Wembanyama is shining despite San Antonio’s struggles

The San Antonio Spurs have only won three games this season, and they are the worst team in the Western Conference. But amid the Spurs’ struggles, Victor Wembanyama has continued to develop his skills with each game. The 19-year-old is the frontrunner to win the Rookie of the Year trophy this season. He is averaging 19.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3 blocks so far. Even in the last game, Wembanyama almost pulled off a huge upset by nearly beating the Los Angeles Lakers.

Wemby had a historic duel with Anthony Davis, going off for 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Those are some elite numbers from a 19-year-old rookie.
