The Sacramento Kings will pay a visit to the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center tonight. Sacramento has been enjoying a great run recently winning six of their last eight games. Meanwhile, the Spurs have been in a slump losing three of their last four games. Last season, the Kings secured a Play-in spot with a 46-39 record, and despite no finals expectations they are looking for a 50-win season.
The Kings hope to continue their hot form after winning a thrilling showdown against the Suns, outlasting them 127-118. DeMar DeRozan was the leading scorer as he netted 34 points and went 14 out of 25 for shooting. Simultaneously, De’Aaron Fox chipped in another 21 points with 11 boards as well as eight assists.

On the other hand, the Spurs were within touching distance of the win as they lost to a lowly Jazz side 111-110. Victor Wembenyama was the standout performer with 26 points and 16 rebounds. In the meantime, Stephon Castle added 23 points, Vassell and Johnson also contributed in double-digits but it wasn’t enough on the night.
Both the teams have a fairly fit roster apart from missing a few names, in fact, the Kings are pretty close to having a fully available roster. The matchup looks promising as the Spurs aim to build some chemistry and consistency whereas the Kings seek to establish themselves as serious contenders in the West. Let’s take a look at the injury reports and depth charts to get a better insight into the two teams.
Spurs vs Kings Injury Reports
San Antonio Spurs Injury Report
The Spurs will go into this clash missing a few of their players including Jeremy Sochan, who suffered a fracture in the proximal phalanx of his left thumb on Monday’s game against the Clippers. He is scheduled to undergo surgery this week and the team will provide further information when available.
Following Sochan is Tre Jones, as he sustained an ankle injury which has ruled him out for tonight’s game. The final name on the list is Malaki Branham who is questionable for the game due to an ankle injury as well.
Sacramento Kings Injury Report
The Kings might just be at full strength tonight if Malik Monk becomes available as he is listed on a day-to-day after being ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Suns, due to an ankle problem.
