Rules for the Stephen Curry and Sabrina’s showdown

Given the distinct three-point line measurements in the NBA and WNBA, both players will adhere to their respective league standards. Sabrina Ionescu will shoot from a 20-foot line, while Stephen Curry will shoot from a 23-foot line. Additionally, since the WNBA uses a different ball than the NBA, each shooter will stick to the ball used in their respective leagues.

The showdown between Curry and Ionescu will be an exclusive event, occurring after the Three-Point Contest and KIA Skills Challenge. In their battle, the two snipers will follow the standard Starry 3-point contest rules. They will feature four racks with four game balls and a money ball. They will also have a fifth rack full of special money ball racks (with the shooter deciding its placement). Additionally, the contest will also feature two Starry Range balls, both supposed to be shot from 29 feet from the basket. For each game ball, 1 point will be awarded. The money ball will be worth 2 points, and the two Starry Range shots will garner 3 points each.
