Russell Westbrook’s impact on the Clippers

This season, The Los Angeles Clippers are what the fans have expected of them since 2019. Kawhi Leonard has propelled them towards the top, leading them and making moves in the MVP conversations. Even though his scoring has taken a dip due to his new role, Brodie manages to make contributions on both ends of the floor. For the season, he is averaging 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists in nearly 22 minutes per game. Beyond stats, he acts as the glue for the Clippers’ unit, holding teammates accountable and demanding the best out of them every night.

Moreover, displaying a character like no other, Westbrook is now far separated from his questionable Los Angeles Lakers stint, where he was criticized as washed up. Now, in the previous year’s playoffs, Brodie showed that he can still lead a team. Now, through his reduced role and willingness to bring his A game, he displays a commitment to win, and make sacrifices.
