Initially launched during the pandemic, Russell Westbrook’s facility can now support more than 400 middle and high school students. “I just feel like, you know, when you’re in a space and you feel good and it feels comfortable and safe, then you have the best opportunity to succeed and get your work done,” Nina Westbrook said.

The Westbrook Academy shared on their Instagram handle a glimpse of the hooper enjoying the inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Alongside the academy unveiling, Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul organized a charity poker tournament in Las Vegas, partnering with the World Poker Tour Foundation. Attendees had to pay a $7500 entry fee, which included exclusive perks, all while engaging in a night of fun and philanthropy. “I’ve learned and got a little bit better year after year, and I’m not tight.
