Russell Westbrook was one of the best players in the second half of the previous decade. His thunderous dunks are always a delight. He won an MVP during the 2016-17 season and stuck with the Oklahoma City Thunder for 11 seasons. Having four triple-double seasons in the bag, the Guard is one of the most record-breaking talents ever. However, in college, things weren’t that sunshine. The Guard started as a backup to Darren Collison and had to work his way to the main rotation.

The Los Angeles Clippers Guard played two years for UCLA. During the 2006-07 season, as a backup to Darren Collison, he averaged merely 3.4 points and was more of a defensive stopper. In the next season, he shot up his production to 12.7 points, 4.7 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game. Clearly, this helped to the fourth spot in the 2008 draft.

Amidst these developments, he met Nina Earl. Earl was also a part of the UCLA women’s program and played Forward. Her ability to run and hustle earned her huge laurels out there. Therefore, the two started as competitors for their respective programs. This strengthened their bond and the loyal pair has now been together for 16 years, marrying in 2015.

Westbrook sat down with the former UCLA Bruins Forward and discussed his intimate secrets. Despite being his intimate partner, as an interviewer, she remained professional but couldn’t hide her emotions as his partner at the same time. On her podcast, The Relationship Chronicles, she asked him, “Pre-game s*x or post-game s*x?”.

The triple-double threat replied, “I have to go post-game, post-game s*x”. Upon hearing the reply, the host was taken aback a little. The two then continued to talk about this peculiar preference.

Westbrook explains his choice

Earl revealed, “I am surprised by your last answer”. Then Westbrook explained, “Pregame doesn’t benefit me”. This made his partner laugh, and he gave a slight giggle, too. He continued, “Post-game is like celebratory”. Still laughing, his wife said,  “Okay, good to know, or if you lose, like a cheer-up”. Assenting to the notion, he stated, “I go to sleep feeling better about myself”. The host then expressed, “Good to know, I am surprised I didn’t know the answer to that”.

This interview is a treasure trove because of Westbrook’s quiet personality. Perhaps only his wife can get him to open him up like this.
