The Minnesota Timberwolves fans leave Draymond Green rattled after the embarrassing loss in Game 2. The Dubs star joined the Inside Guys crew this postseason, dropping his opinions on live TV. Luka Doncic joined the crew for a chat in the arena tonight, after sinking the clutch three-pointer over Rudy Gobert to close the game. And the events that turned up after weren’t a pleasant one for DrayMagic.

While Green picked up the mic and asked a question to Luka, regarding the last bucket, fans from the arena heckled the star with “Draymond sucks” chants. In response, Green, on live TV, said, “Rudy sucks, not me. I didn’t do anything. Why are they going at me for?” And even he pointed at Luka and said, “You did to them.” Moreover, Charles Barkley further closed it out, saying, “Hey! Go home. We’ll see y’all next year.”

Fans have no one to blame other than Anthony Edwards. The rising superstar made two bad passes during the clutch while they still had the lead. The Dallas Mavericks guard saw the opportunity and took a one-point lead with 3 seconds on the clock, dropping a three-pointer over the 4x DPOY Rudy Gobert

Nevertheless, Draymond Green ended up in the firing line after the loss. Moreover, this isn’t the first time when the Wolves fans heckled the Golden State Warriors star. Ahead of Game 1 tip-off, fans ran down on him with ‘Draymond sucks’ chants as he sat with the Inside Guys crew. Notably, Shaquille O’Neal requested the fans to stop it by gesturing to stop with his hands. But the chants didn’t seem to stop.

And tonight, the fans doubled down on Green after the embarrassing loss. The team held a 12-point lead, going into the locker room after the first half. However, the team couldn’t bring out the same intensity except for Naz Reid. Importantly, Doncic closed the game with his brilliance.

Draymond Green vs the Wolves fans

The Warriors star probably has haters in every single franchise in the league, but the Wolves fans hate him for one particular reason. In the 2023-24 regular season, Green had one of the most problematic seasons of his career. After engaging in multiple ugly physical altercations on the court, the league indefinitely suspended him and later revoked it. One of the altercations was with the Wolves star Rudy Gobert.

Green grabbed the big man with a chokehold and ended up thrown out of the game for the action. Following that incident, the Wolves fans picked up a new chapter in their rivalry with the star. And the continued heckling of Green is the by-product of the chokehold. However, DrayMagic doesn’t seem to be impacted by the noise, as he received it with a smile on his face.

Nevertheless, Green seemed to be the one who would walk away with the last laugh. Considering the Wolves’ embarrassing 0-2 record in the series, the Mavs have the upper hand and will look to carry it to their home court. It will further reduce the Wolves’ chances of winning the series.

At the same time, the Wolves have the capability of producing strong comebacks. After losing three straight games against the Nuggets, they won the series with consecutive wins. Which team do you think will reach the Finals? Let us know in the comments.
