Whenever Draymond Green and Charles Barkley share a screen, it always makes for great television. Sharing great chemistry filled with friendly banter and varied opinions, the duo showcased it during their announcing role at this year’s All-Star weekend, and are now doing the same on Inside The NBA. So, when Bulls star Alex Caruso was invited to tonight’s show and made a statement that slightly triggered Dray, Chuckster was back at it, again, pulling the Warriors star’s leg and getting into a hilarious debate about his teammate Stephen Curry.

Talking about their season and this year’s regular season awards, Caruso didn’t forget to give his Bulls teammates their flowers, “I think Demar could have won clutch.” But disagreeing with Caruso, Draymond quickly retaliated to defend Steph who actually won the Clutch Player of The Year trophy by getting more votes than DeRozan and SGA, “Uh huh! Steph Curry won clutch.” Then, backing his claim, Green said that Steph was winning more. And that left Barkley slightly confused as the Warriors got eliminated in the play-in tournament, “Wait! Y’all winning?” Draymond was quick to nip Barkley’s comment in the bud, saying, “Relax Yourself!”

However, it led to an even funnier banter as Chuck asked DG how they were winning if they just reached the play-in tournament. Laughing at Chuck’s point, Draymond Green again tried to stop the Suns legend, “Don’t you do this.” Then, Barkley reminded him how great a teammate he was when they teamed up at the announcers’ desk at the All-Star game where Barkley wished the Warriors star good luck for the play-in tournament. But as there was still nearly half the season left to play and the play-in spots were not decided yet, Draymond then claimed, “You crushed us”.

Working together for decades on the same show, the Inside The NBA panel full of Hall of Famers has a chemistry like no other. And it’s hard to imagine someone replicating the same energy or even coming in as a new member and seamlessly becoming a part of the legendary show. However, Draymond Green has taken over that role brilliantly in the past week. Initially taking part in the show to replace other panelists, he felt right at home with the entire team during tonight’s show.
