The LA Clippers vs Houston Rockets matchup had an unlikely end. With all odds favoring the Rockets, the entire world was stunned when James Harden landed his first win since being traded. LA has been facing backlash and insults to welcome one of the highly controversial NBA players into the team.

Though Clippers fans around the world are thrilled with joy at the win, and a good deal might even sympathize with LA for finally clinching one, not everyone is on the same boat. And in the forefront is Tari Eason’s mother.

The referees of the NBA seem to be having a rough season this time. Many of their calls alone have made top headlines in the league’s new in-season tournament. And tonight was one of those nights for them. Only this time, it caught the attention of the Rockets’ forward, Tari Eason’s mother. And she was careful not to mince any words, “Damn you ref, you burn in hell!”

Known for her very vocal comments on X (formerly Twitter), Teroya Eason never wraps the truth with feathers for fear of it hitting too hard. With just 0.2 seconds left in the game, the Rockets were called for a foul on Kawhi. It gave them two free throws, which the “Klaw” promptly made.

Hence, the four-point lead turned to six points, and the LA Clippers won the match with 106 points. This, of course, didn’t sit well with fans who took to social media to blast the league for its inadequacy. But the fact of the matter is, the Clippers won and Harden looks like he is finally getting the ropes.

If this continues, then what the fans hoped, and the opponents feared, would take place soon. The Los Angeles Clippers can become the deadly team that they hoped to be with Harden’s arrival.

James Harden comes through to break the Clippers’ losing streak

A team that is already star-powered with a Big 3 hoped to increase it by a point with Harden. But couldn’t for the first 5 games since The Beard took place in the starting 5. In all fairness, it does take some time for a player to get accustomed to a new team.

In James’s case, not only was he going to debut for the first time with a new team, but this was also his 2023-24 season debut. And this was why the LA fans cut him slack and believed that he would be another asset to the Big 3. Their win against the Rockets Friday night sealed that belief.

With only six seconds left on the clock, Harden’s tie-breaking 3-pointer sent LA to their unprecedented victory. He had a season-high 24 points and 9 rebounds to go with it. Kawhi led the scoreboard with 26 points and Paul put up 23 of his own for the team.

Another fresh face in the team was big man Daniel Theis, the backup center for Mason Plumlee. In 10 minutes of playing time, the German veteran added 2 points and 3 rebounds to the scoreboard. Anyway, it seems like the woes of the refs continue, but they have a job to do and not an easy one.

On a different note, can the Clippers hold the boat steady going forward, or will the Friday win take Harden on another one of his “club” trips?
