Durant’s online activities need no introduction. The two-time NBA Finals MVP has admitted to using burner accounts in the past. These were used to defend his performances and throw other allegations.
Recently, there is a viral quote that is doing the rounds on the internet, which is supposedly quoted by Durant. “I’m 7′ tall and have the skillset of a shooting guard. I am the best scorer in NBA history, my only weakness is injuries,” it read.
Although this might sound true, this is actually a fake quote attributed to Durant. An account impersonating a popular NBA updates account posted this, and it instantly gained traction, with upwards of 7 million views at the time of writing.
As a result, it caught the attention of the NBA world. In fact, Durant took matters into his own hands and took care of the fake tweet, in his own sweet way.
