The Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry comes from an NBA legacy. His father Dell Curry was also an athlete in the league, however, Steph has exceeded all levels of fame and success. It becomes obvious that the family will produce several other stars. While Steph’s brother is also an NBA athlete, other members of the family have taken up the role of social media influencers.

Sydel Curry, the youngest sibling to Steph, recently penned a heartfelt note for her husband. She is married to Damion Lee of the Phoenix Suns. Damion recently went through surgery and in times of such physical and mental exhaustion, Sydel wished for strength to get through.

The 28-year-old is surely a part of one of the NBA’s most popular families. Although she doesn’t necessarily distance herself from the NBA world, Sydel focuses on the causes close to her. Additionally, she is also a known advocate for mental health issues in the society. She also uses her social media to give the fans a glimpse of what goes on inside her family. Often she shares clips of her kids and wins the internet with her captions.

However, the recent week has been extremely exhaustive for her family. Recapping her last week on Instagram, Sydel detailed everything that went on.

She posted a story stating that her husband Damion went through surgery recently and is doing better now. She wrote, “Thankful for a successful surgery for Damion. Praying for mental and physical strength as he continues down the path of recovery & greatness. So proud of him, always!”. The details of the surgery are still largely unknown and going by Sydel’s update, everything seems to have gone as per their hopes.

Stephen Curry’s preseason success

As we know, the teams have lined up for preseason battles ahead of the regular season. While several teams are getting a reality check in an otherwise friendly fire, Curry’s Warriors are having a smooth sail. The Golden State has played three games till now and has managed to win all three. Their first two outing against the LA Lakers were thrillers, but the Warriors were a superior team. A similar story was repeated in their game against the Sacramento Kings.
