Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs is already a part of controversy before lacing up for his first NBA game. The Spurs star got caught up in an altercation with singer Britney Spears after his security allegedly ?backhanded? her in the face. The popstar?s security went on to file charges but the police saw it otherwise. And now, the 41-year-old singer decided to send out an emotional message on social media.
After the whole ordeal took place, Victor Wembanyama went on to reveal that it was Britney Spears who grabbed him from behind and did not give him a tap on his shoulder. Now, the former pop star comes back with another explanation on her behalf.

Victor Wembanyama was spotted at a Las Vegas hotel where he signed autographs for fans. Britney Spears too was at the same hotel and wanted to congratulate the French sensation on his success.
As she approached him, Wembanyama?s security ended up hitting her in the face while protecting him. Later on, Wembanyama went on to reveal that Britney Spears grabbed him and did not tap him on his shoulder.
After Wembanyama?s statement started to gain traction, Britney Spears went on to send out an emotional message on social media. Spears stated, ?Traumatic experiences are not new to me and I?ve had my fair share of them. I was not prepared for what happened to me last night.?

Spears recognized Wembanyama and approached him to congratulate him on his success. The pop star stuck to her story of tapping Wembanyama on his shoulder to grab his attention. She took in regard Wembanyama?s statement of her grabbing him from behind but she insisted that she had simply tapped his shoulder.

Britney Spears? statement reinforced her initial claim of Victor Wembanyama?s security backhanding her in the face, causing her glasses to get knocked off in the process and also getting almost knocked down.
Spears? statement went on to talk about physical violence, especially behind closed doors. Further in her message, Spears said, ?Physical violence is happening too much in this world. Often behind closed doors. I stand with all the victims and my heart goes out to all of you!!!?

She then revealed that she is yet to receive an apology from Wembanyama, his security, or even the Spurs organization. However, the initial report by TMZ stated that the security guard had gone back to apologize, which goes to contradict the pop star’s emotional message.
