“6 years, countless memories, and a lifetime to go. I fall for you more everyday, I got you forever,” wrote Tyrese Haliburton in a loving tribute to his girlfriend back in April. It served as another reminder of just how long Jade Jones has been a support system for her beau. As if we needed another one, since her social media feed ends up often filled with messages of support, transforming her into the biggest fan-girl of the 25-year-old. Therefore, with Haliburton securing a major win in the ongoing playoffs, she wasn’t expected to stay silent for too long.

Jade Jones, recently took to her official Instagram account to share a post with her 50,000+ followers. The same featured her sharing a warm embrace with the star player in the aftermath of the game. Jones also wrote a caption alongside the post that read “pacers in 🖐🏼 !!!!!!”. 5, indeed!

The post was liked by several people within an hour after it was put up, including Jenna Barber, Austin Reaves’ girlfriend.

Tyrese Haliburton wasn’t the only one who might have caught the eyes of attendees at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse during the recent matchup, and all the other recent games. After all, the reported model and influencer kept impressing people with her memorable fits. For the recent game, Jones had adopted a deshi look (deshi, not desi) by wearing a varsity-style jacket over a black top. She accompanied that with a pair of cameo jeans.

That was just the recent look. Over the series, she adopted other outfits too, including a gold jacket worn over a white top and black shorts, accompanied by boots that went all the way up to the knee. On another game day, Jones wore a pair of hollow-out, high-waist denim jeans, with a top that carried Haliburton’s ‘0’ on it. Sometimes, Jones just went a bit simpler by donning only a yellow T-Shirt and black skirt, while exuding a mix of elegance and trendy style on other days.

Very few people would have been as excited as Jade Jones throughout the series. As she showed on her post, she watched in anticipation during important moments, and even became an unofficial cheerleader after dancing around with a pom-pom during the games. If this isn’t the kind of support one can expect from their close partner, then what is?

The aftermath of the recent game was certainly the moment to celebrate. After all, it allowed Tyrese Haliburton and co to eliminate the team with the 2nd-best record in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, and proceed to the Conference Finals for the 2nd consecutive year, and the 4th time in 13 years. This win certainly could not have been made possible without the 25-year-old hooper. Therefore, Jones wasn’t the only one who came out to send their love to Haliburton.

LeBron James shut down Tyrese Haliburton haters with a supportive message: “Quiet as hell”

Amongst the first couple of people who reacted to Tyrese Haliburton’s win was LeBron James himself. Since the Lakers got eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, and the player continues to recover from his knee injury, there wasn’t anything else for him to do than catch up on the other team’s games. What he saw impressed him, as Tyrese Haliburton led the scoring effort with his 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. After a bad Game 3 and 4, his efficiency was on another level, as the player made 10-15 (66.7%) field goals, 6-10 (60.0%) 3-pointers, and 5-6 (83.3%) free throws. As the phrase goes: “Game recognizes Game”.

“Hali fkn hooping!!!! Where the lames who said he was overrated??!! Quiet as hell” wrote LeBron James on X. “That boy NICE and even more someone everyone would love to play with!”.

Just like any other NBA player out there, including a star like LeBron James, Tyrese Haliburton is not immune to criticism. The 25-year-old has been receiving flak from the audience and pundits for quite a while now.  A week before the Cavaliers series, The Athletic’s anonymous player poll reportedly named Tyrese Haliburton the NBA’s most overrated player. Cleveland fans ended up echoing this sentiment, chanting “overrated” during his Game 2 free throws. Donovan Mitchell had to even gesture for them to stop. Well, well, well, this overrated player just drove the Pacers to a win in Game 5. It is always a sweet moment when the haters are proven wrong, and LeBron James wanted to be there to celebrate that fact, along with the win.

The tournament run is only going to get tougher for Tyrese Haliburton and co going forward, with the New York Knicks potentially set to be their next rivals. Fortunately, the point guard at least has the support of his girlfriend and an NBA legend.
