Wake up, it’s playoffs season. And it never disappoints. Most of the ties are dead at 1-1 after two games of the first round. One of those ties culminated in an L for the Dub Nation, losing out 109-94 to the Rockets. If you’re wondering what went wrong, we’d have to go back to the 8th minute of the first quarter. When Rockets forward Amen Thompson missed a shot, Jimmy Butler skied for the rebound. Thompson then charged forward to attempt an offensive rebound, undercutting the Warriors star’s body. The outcome? A pelvic contusion, with no updates on a return.
But a ridiculous moment transpired when Marc J. Stephens received a text from Butler’s agent, Bernie Lee. A message so cryptic that it sent the fans into a state of confusion. No clear wording, just “pray for the bear.” Well, if you are wondering what it means, you’ve come to the right place. What Lee’s tryna say is this- Buckets will be back to tear the league apart in no time. Don’t worry, it’s all good. The bear will return, soon.

You know what that means? The Lucifer of playoff demons is back. Just to speak of his contibutions- he scored a combined 63 points in the play-ins game vs Grizzlies and game 1 against Houston. It’s clear that they need their Jimmy Buckets and his 17.9/5.5/5.9 averages to blitz through the Rockets.
But the playoff tie won’t be easy even with Jimmy Butler in the squad. Houston’s high octane, scrappy playstyle has seem to gotten the organised and tactical approach of the Warriors off guard. Rockets HC Ime Udoka even said as much in his postgame press. But those comments didn’t sit right with ESPN’s very own, Stephen A. Smith.
