Before starting their game, they displayed grievance toward the recent happenings in Israel. The organization announced, “The Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center condemn the terrorist attacks”.

The match took place under high security as New York City mourned “the senseless loss of life in Israel”. “Personally, I don’t feel that we should be playing the game,” Nic mentioned. Still, in the end, he chose to be a professional player. Claxton committed himself to fulfilling his duty as a Nets member. “We’re gonna go out there and do our job,” he stated, to highlight it.
