Draymond Green has been suspended “indefinitely” for his actions against Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic. Green made excessive and unnecessary contact with Nurkic’s face when he swung at the 7-footer while spinning towards him. The officials reviewed the play and penalized the former DPOY with a Flagrant 2 foul, tossing him from the game. The “indefinite” suspension by the NBA does not set a timeline for when Draymond will return to the line-up.

Veteran analyst Skip Bayless pinpointed Draymond Green’s history of “Cheap Shots” and urged Adam Silver to show him some “tough love”.

Undisputed host Skip Bayless brought forth Draymond Green’s history of dirty plays and urged the league to not let him go without a harsh suspension. “After years of cheap shots … so many groin kicks, the Poole punch, Sabonis stomp, Gobert headlock & last night’s MMA spin shot, the NBA suspends Draymond ‘indefinitely’. Hope that’s not just a dramatic label for what turns into another fairly short enabling 6 or 7 games.” Bayless tweeted.

Skip also claimed that Adam Silver has to deal with a dilemma because Draymond Green provides a lot of entertainment value to the league. He has close connections with LeBron James, and they share the same agent, Rich Paul. Draymond also has deep ties with TNT. “But right now Draymond needs some tough love from the commish. He needs some help,” Skip added.

Draymond Green’s actions are getting wilder with each game. He was fresh off a 5-game suspension for choking Rudy Gobert in a heated altercation but decided to attack Jusuf Nurkic despite knowing the consequences. If the league lets Draymond get off easy this time around, he might continue to pull off these tricks in the future.

Is Draymond Green’s suspension the end of the Warriors dynasty?

The Golden State Warriors are far from contending for the title this season. They had high hopes coming into the season. The Warriors re-signed Draymond on a 4-year $100 million contract and added Point God Chris Paul to their roster. But none of those moves have paid off for them. Draymond has been in trouble more than ever this season. He has been ejected multiple times and suspended twice in just 24 games. Chris Paul has also struggled to find his place in the squad, and injuries have kept him from performing at his best.
