The Suns and Dubs, undoubtedly, both are itching to bounce back. The Golden State Warriors are amidst their longest losing streak this season with three losses. Meanwhile, the Valley side has had a lean patch with a 1-6 record, plagued with injuries. However, Kevin Durant finally returned to the squad, instilling hopes in the Purple Gang. On the other hand, Stephen Curry, who missed the last game, doesn’t look like he will return for the Saturday clash.

The Warriors looked unbeatable in the beginning, effortlessly stacking up blowout wins after blowout wins. Suddenly, after a good and healthy 10-2 record, the team started to look unsettled, especially in the second half of every game, as they repeatedly struggled to defend their leads. On top of it, injuries also hampered the team’s momentum.

It started off with De’Anthony Melton’s season-ending injury, followed by an on-and-off injury break from Stephen Curry and a two-game illness break from Jonathan Kuminga. Boom, the team suddenly went down with a 12-6 record. Amid this situation, the latest injury report might also strangle the team from regaining its balance. After missing out on the Thunder game, the team listed Stephen Curry in the Questionable category, citing bilateral knee, and patellofemoral pain.

Apart from him, the team also added Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II in the probable category, and Andrew Wiggins in the Questionable category, citing a right ankle injury. This has left the team with a huge void in the starting lineup.

On the other end, the Suns have a pretty similar situation to handle. Bradley Beal, who has also been coming on-and-off the injury report, has again found himself in the Probable category with a calf injury along with Jusuf Nurkić. Apart from them, the team has ruled out Collin Gillespie indefinitely after the right ankle fracture.

Stephen Curry & Co. vs Suns: Starting lineup and depth chart

Ahead of the Saturday game, Coach Steve Kerr revealed that Stephen Curry participated in the team’s practice session on Friday. While it might sound like a positive update, in the same breath, the team listed in a questionable category, making him highly unlikely to lace up for tomorrow. Moreover, Kerr may have to mix up his starting lineup, as Brandin Podziemski as starting PG didn’t work for the team last game. Will Moses Moody replace him?
