Kevin Durant and Drake have an interesting relationship. While on the Oklahoma City Thunder, both the superstars were full of praise for one another, with Drake attending KD’s games, and the Slim Reaper attending Drizzy’s concerts. When Durant moved to the Golden State Warriors, Drake continued to support his friend through his battles with LeBron James in the NBA Finals.

However, in the 2019 NBA Finals, when Durant’s Warriors came up against Drake’s beloved hometown Raptors, the rapper would often be seen taunting the 2x Finals MVP from the sidelines every time he missed a shot. The Raptors would go on to win their maiden NBA Championship that year, helped by an untimely injury to Durant. After the series, Drake claimed that it was all in the spirit of fun, and the pair have continued with their friendship. They remain close friends to this day, and Durant has been spotted on Drake’s Instagram feed multiple times. Their friendship has now blossomed into a business relationship as well, with Durant being given A&R credits (Artists & Repertoire) on Drake’s latest album For All the Dogs”.

Devin Booker, who walked out with Drake at his concert 30 days ago, gave his fellow All-Star a shout-out on Instagram, too. The Phoenix Suns Shooting Guard posted Drake’s post to his story and captioned it with the words “perfect timing” as if to indicate that the album couldn’t have come at a better time than the start of the NBA Season, when players need their pre-game songs.

Devin Booker made a grand entry at Drake’s concert

The appearance of Pheonix Sun’s star player Devin Booker mesmerized the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. Well, Devin Booker has his way of driving people baffling, but this time he chose to make his mark off-court.

The partnership seemed perfect, with Drake flaunting Sun’s SG’s new ‘Book 1’ shoes. After all, the friendship goes back to the days when Booker played for the Kentucky Wildcats. Drake obviously is a die-hard fan of the team, hence the teaming up.
