The couple certainly had a lot to be thankful for this year. While the wide smile of little Chai filled our hearts with joy, it was Riley Curry (once again) who tugged at our heartstrings. Why, though? Simply because no one can’t move past the image of an energetic and naughty little girl, frequently interrupting her father’s presser, and asking the 4x champ to be quiet because he was too loud!

And now, she is a 12-year-old and a big sister to three siblings. Needless to say, her transformation has many fans in awe at how quickly time has passed.

Stephen Curry’s eldest daughter’s growth stuns fans: “I feel old now”

The reactions to the post were almost instant, as it is whenever it comes to Steph and his family. But the comment section filled even faster with remarks that reflected a mix of nostalgia, disbelief, and affection at Riley’s photos. In fact, one fan couldn’t help but express the feeling many of us feel when watching kids grow up before our eyes.

What’s your perspective on:

Seeing Riley Curry grow up makes us all feel old, right? What's your favorite Riley moment?

Have an interesting take?

“Well, I feel old now seeing Riley growing up,” followed by a laughing-with-tears emoji. A sentiment, no doubt, echoed by many. Riley—once the adorable toddler with mic-drop moments, is now a young girl with a growing presence of her own.

Another fan shared an endearing observation, saying, “Riley is Steph’s twin,” complete with laughing and heart-eyed emojis. It does not come as a surprise that Riley Curry often earns comparisons to her father. The resemblance is too apparent to not notice! And it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that many are hoping she follows her dad not just in his looks, but also in his footsteps.

Yet another fan wrote just one line. One very familiar line for the Curry fans and an iconic Riley moment. “Waaaaay up I feel blessed,” followed by laughing with tears emoji. Now, do I even need to get into the details? But just for the uninitiated; this fan reaction stems from a playful interruption from Riley during Stephen Curry’s 2015 post-game press conference.

Not in the least bothered by the flashing lights or the swarming reporters, little Riley joyfully broke in with a line from Blessings by Big Sean featuring Drake and Kanye West. The pure innocence of the moment quickly turned into a viral sensation. Big Sean even acknowledged her with a tweet, further amplifying the moment.

Needless to say, fans still remember it just as vividly and fondly as one of the major highlights of her early years in the spotlight.

Then there’s the fan who noted, “Yal we really watched Riley grow up to be big sis,” followed by raising hands emoji. It’s a heartwarming reminder of how far Riley has come since her early years. Now, as the big sister to three young ones, Riley Curry’s role in the family dynamic is just as endearing as ever.

Finally, a fan shared, “Omg, how fast your daughter has grown,” followed by a pair of red hearts. It doesn’t matter how many photos Ayesha or Stephen Curry posts. We will still be amazed at the speed at which Riley has grown. And this reaction sums it up accurately! Riley is maturing into a young woman right before our eyes and we can’t help but feel a little sentimental about it.
