Patrick Beverley Drops 3-Word Response to a Controversial Chris Paul Question a Year After Revealing the Origin of His Beef Against Warriors Star

In his 11-season-long career, Patrick Beverley has had several controversial moments. And most of them branched out because of his squabble with Chris Paul. The Philadelphia 76ers star never missed an opportunity to drop a slander against CP3 both on and off the court. More importantly, he even revealed the backstory of his long-standing beef against the new member of the Golden State Warriors. Recently, he again went at the veteran point guard with a three-word response.

Pat Bev has had a pretty unsettling journey in the few seasons. In the last two seasons alone, he had played for three franchises. Additionally, he is all set to begin his 2023-24 campaign with a fourth team, the Sixers. Nevertheless, the star hasn’t let anything affect his performance on the court and entertaining the fans with his antics. While the beef against CP3 may seem serious on the court, fans on the other end take it on a funnier note.

However, the fans hope that his new affiliation with the Splash Bros. would end his suffering in the league.

On the other hand, he has also been battling his beef with Patrick Beverley little over eleven years.

As a new development to the Bev-CP3 tussle, Beverley dropped a 3-word response to a controversial question.

In a latest interview with GQ, he responded to fans’ questions on the internet. A fan on the X, formerly known as Twitter, asked, “Does any NBA player think about another player as much as Pat Bev thinks about Chris Paul?”

The Sixers star looked seemingly taken aback by the question. He repeated the question aloud before saying, “No, I don’t.”

Immediately thereafter, he moved on to other questions, leaving the curious fan with only a three-word response.

While it may seem like Beverley has given up on the beef, but the intensity of the origin story tells a different story.

In an episode of Stephen A. Smith’s First Take, Beverley opened up about the origin story. It all began during a camp under the watch of LeBron James. He said, “I got a taste of little CP there. Destroyed him. Ask LeBron… So it’s always been something from there. I respect his game.” 

During the Lakers’ last outing against the Phoenix Suns, Pat Bev showed gestures toward CP3 which he ignored and went along playing the game.
