Stephen Curry is busy inventing the path of glory for the Golden State Warriors. And his wife Ayesha Curry is trying to reinvent the culinary world. Ayesha began loving the art of cooking right from childhood. Later, she wrote blogs about her recipes. Along with running the successful food network show, Ayesha’s Home Kitchen, she has written two books on cooking and is a successful restauranteur. She is the proud owner of International Smoke and recently opened up on what motivates her to serve and about the purpose of her flourishing restaurant business.

Ayesha opened a chain of restaurants with Micheal Mina. Though the two came from different backgrounds, mutual trust and respect were the binding force of their relationship. The wife of the NBA superstar opened up on a host of issues while talking to Michelin Guide and talked about how her restaurants act as bridges between different cultures.

She shared that her restaurants aim to highlight global grilling because every cuisine in the world has unique grilling techniques. She added, “ There’s so much to learn about a group of people through their food, so the hope was to create a restaurant experience that showcases that. It represents that while we all come from different places, we’re more alike than we are different.”
While making money has been central to her passion for gastronomy, Ayesha has used her success and privilege to lend a hand to the less privileged.

Ayesha Curry’s larger-than-business goals
Ayesha is not an ordinary restaurant business owner. After she settled in San Francisco with her NBA veteran husband, the two undertook leadership roles in society. They established Eat. Learn. Play foundation that aims to fight hunger and enable access to education for children. The foundation also tries to provide space for children to stay active.

Ayesha is trying to bring sophistication to the very concept of serving food.
