3822 three-point shots. This is Stephen Curry’s record for you, and it’s not stopping any time soon. He is the greatest shooter in the NBA’s history. But, that’s beside the point. Curry’s leadership and power to mesmerize his peers make him one of the most revered players in the league. To say being around him is a surreal feeling has to be an understatement. And who could narrate the feeling better than Steph’s Warriors teammates? No one.
Therefore, while talking on the Dubs Talk podcast, Buddy Hield shared his experience with Stephen Curry. The 31-year-old shooting guard even went to the extent of saying that watching the 4x champ is equivalent to watching the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Well, the soccer giants, known for their dribbles, headers, and penalty wonders give an unparalleled thrill to the audience. And well, Stephen Curry isn’t an exception at all.
Hield shared: “It is surreal. Everybody says I have to see Messi play. You have to see Ronaldo. I think seeing Steph Curry shoot is like one thing on camera is different what in person is remarkable.” He added: “I know just like I’ve seen him shoot the basketball just a thing of beauty. The way his trajectory on his shot is the way he shoots it. So effortlessly. The way and then the way it comes off his hands just like it’s God’s gift, you know.”

Buddy Hield continued: “I wish I could shoot the fluent of a shot. I wish I had it every time I see him. It looks pretty, you know. You could tell the work he put in the work… It’s just so remarkable it rubs off on me, of course, but imagine people who don’t get to see this every day, imagine they got to see how much he can inspire everybody.”
For the “pretty” shots, Stephen Curry had to work relentlessly. The beast we see on the floor has taken hours of training and more. However, there’s no denying that watching Stephen Curry at play is inspiring for anyone. But, truly the ones who don’t know what it’s like to see the maestro in action are missing out on some real action.
And while Buddy Hield went all-out to express his motivation and awestruck moments around Steph, the Baby-Faced Assassin’s bold comments on his teammate have made waves in the NBA world. So, what did Curry say?
