While Stephen Curry is busy with his shenanigans on-court, representing the Golden State Warriors, his wife, Ayesha Curry, and their three children are celebrating a wholesome Christmas Eve. Just a few minutes ago, Ayesha showed fans a glimpse of what their Christmas Eve is looking like, while they are 1252 miles away from the NBA star, who is currently traveling on the road to play against Nikola Jokić’s Denver Nuggets.

Ayesha took to Instagram stories and showered fans with a picture of a hot cup of milk, some Christmas-y cookies, and what could possibly be a letter written to Santa Claus, with all kinds of wishes from one of their children. She also captions the story, “Merry Christmas to all, and good night!“.

Earlier during their Christmas Eve celebrations, Ayesha also posted a short video clip showing food packages, which she must be relishing with a few of her friends or family members. The food was brought in as a surprise for Ayesha by Chef Michael Mina, from all of their favorite restaurant chains, including PABU, San Francisco, which is a Japanese Izakaya. The list of restaurants in her stories also includes Estiatorio Ornos, a Mediterranean restaurant, and Ayesha’s restaurant, International Smoke.

We bet the Curry family is missing Stephen Curry right now, but of course, they will be rooting for him for his upcoming Christmas Day match against the Denver Nuggets. It will be his 11th Christmas Day game so far, wherein people now know him as a notable figure in the festive lineup. Denver Nuggets vs Golden State Warriors is scheduled for December 25, 2023, at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado at 2:30 PM ET.

Golden State Warriors vs Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets are hosting the Christmas Day game against Golden State Warriors. Over the past few years, the Nuggets and the Warriors have had the chance to play against each other multiple times during playoffs. But currently, they are at a very different stage in the ups and downs we are witnessing this regular season.

While the Denver Nuggets, who are also the league’s reigning champions are off to a strong start (not taking into account Jokić’s recent ejections), the Warriors, on the other hand, are still reeling from the wounds inflicted on them after Draymond Green’s ejections. Fans and analysts still believe, despite his trash-talking antics, he is still the heart and soul of the team. Yet, with rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis stepping up, along with others, the Warriors are fresh off their major home win against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. Of course, special mention must be given to their sharpshooter himself, Stephen Curry too.

Stephen Curry has a boast-worthy career average of 24 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in his 41 games against the Denver Nuggets. And when it comes to the Christmas Day games, his average turns out to be 15.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.7 assists. In fact, he has 1.7 steals under his name on Christmas Day games, along with 0.3 blocks, 23.1% from beyond the arc and 31.5% from the floor.

Keeping all of this in the mix, Curry’s performance around Christmas, and the Warriors’ redemption since Draymond Green, there is a slight chance they might win this one. The only problem here is – the game is in Colorado, the Nugget’s home game, so a heavier chance of Jokic and the team (including Jamal Murray and Aaron ‘the bruiser‘ Gordon) taking the edge here.
