The Nuggets won big against the Spurs last night, defeating Victor Wembanyama and the rest 132-120. Nikola Jokic had an exceptional run, scoring 39, along with 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Nuggets now sit in the fourth position in the Western Conference table. Meanwhile, the Spurs find themselves languishing at the bottom, much to the Grizzlies’ not-so-relief.
Denver will now face the Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Before that, however, there are questions about who will take the court from the Nuggets roster against the star-studded Clippers. More importantly, will Jamal Murray make a comeback after being sidelined due to a hamstring injury?

Murray missed out on ten matches since after injuring his hamstring while playing the Bulls earlier this month. He has played only seven games this season for the Nuggets. It would be interesting to see how the Nuggets fare without him. With the majority of the season yet to unfold, the 26-year-old can still make an impact for his side when he returns. Meanwhile, due to his absence, pressure is mounting on the rest of the roster.

Too much pressure on Nikola Jokic?
In the game against the San Antonio Spurs, forwards Michael Porter Jr. and guard Reggie Jackson put up an impressive display. The pressure, however, seems to be mounting on their talisman, Nikola Jokic, who himself was questionable to take court due to lower back pain.
The Nuggets will likely find other ways to release this workload off Jokic’s shoulders. Jamal Murray, being one of their finest, will be yearning to make his return to the court. And if Denver can continue their winning ways and make ground in the absence of their star player, still remains to be seen.
