The Orlando Magic is all set to host the reigning champions of the NBA tonight at the Amway Center. The Magic hope to keep their winning streak alive as they dominated the Toronto Raptors with a score of 126-107. The Denver Nuggets are currently 1-1 on their away games record. And they hope to add to their previous 107-103 victory over the Detroit Pistons and achieve a similar result.

However, the Nuggets’ roster has been plagued with injury with many of their star players out of action. One of the main players who is out due to a hamstring injury is Jamal Murray. So the fans and analysts are wondering whether he will be able to play against the Magic or not.

During the Nuggets’ championship run last year, the Magic proved to be a tough competitor. Denver survived with a win on their own court thanks to a buzzer-beater by Nikola Jokic. The Magic, on the other hand, dealt the Nuggets a double-digit setback in Orlando back in February. Tonight’s game provides the Nuggets with an opportunity for atonement as well as an evaluation of their championship caliber. But this match might be a challenge for the Nuggets as their star player Jamal Murray has been injured.

Due to his absence, they are facing tremendous difficulties as Murray is their best point guard. He has been out of action because of a hamstring injury he suffered during the game against the Chicago Bulls. The Blue Arrow has still been traveling with the team and is actively a part of all the discussions and strategies while he waits to receive a confirmation to represent his franchise.

Is the Mile High City looking like a championship contender?

The Denver Nuggets currently hold a record of 10 wins and 4 losses and are second in the Western Conference standings. The only thing currently lacking in the team is their away game stat where they have played 3 games and lost 2 of them. As the Nuggets continue their journey on the road, including tonight’s game in Orlando and a game with the Houston Rockets, they would like to improve on their 1-2 record.

The squad is also hoping for a key win versus the Rockets in order to advance to the knockout stage of the first in-season event. A win over the Rockets, along with a defeat in New Orleans, is required for the Nuggets to advance into the tournament’s eight-team knockout stage. However, the current challenge which they have to overcome is against the Orlando Magic.
