The Denver Nuggets are in action against the Dallas Mavericks for the second straight game at the American Airlines Center. On Tuesday night, the Nuggets ran away with the game in the fourth quarter to get the better of Dallas in a 112-101 affair. While Dallas will look to get on level terms with Denver, the Nuggets will be looking to make a statement with back-to-back wins on the road.

Furthermore, Russell Westbrook led the scoring for Denver scoring 21 points. Whereas, Nikola Jokic had a solid outing as well scoring 19 points, grabbing 18 rebounds, and dishing out nine assists. After an impressive performance last night, Jokic is on a day-to-day due to an illness. It will be a game-day decision for the Nuggets, who would look to keep him in the best shape possible and not risk any major injuries. So far this season, he’s been as impressive as ever averaging 31.2 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game. So, no doubt his absence will be a huge blow for Denver.

On the other hand, the Mavericks might be getting some much-needed reinforcements with superstar Kyrie Irving’s status being upgraded to questionable.
