The Boston Celtics crashed the party for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they took home an OT victory! Jaylen Brown was the star of the game as he was on just one mission – keep Anthony Edwards at bay. Going to overtime, Brown was solely focused on his task. With only three minutes left on the clock, JB was like a bull who saw only red.

Or in this case, blue. As reported by Jarred Weiss, Edwards went 0/5 with three turnovers from there. But post-game saw Brown call ANT his “lil’ bro,” saying that nothing on the court was personal. It was all based on “respect and competition.”

JB has been quite impressed with Edwards’ progress. Aside from the fact they are both Atlanta natives, the NBA All-Star has been key in keeping the Wolves at the top. As a star of the Eastern Conference’s top-seeded team himself, Brown knows what it takes to keep the position. It’s easy to climb to the top, but it takes a lot of effort to stay there.

Tonight’s game was what one would consider a proper game. It featured top stars in all their glory, battling for victory. It had enough player competition to keep the fans plenty entertained, without any of the petty arguments or hurtful words. There was trash-talking, of course, but as Brown pointed out, it was “rooted in respect and competition”.

Jaylen Brown was locked in for tonight vs Ant-Man

Referring to their first loss of the season, handed to them by none other than the Timberwolves in yet another overtime win, Jaylen Brown said that going into the game, his attitude was “not tonight.”

Starting the season with a 5-game winning streak, Jayson Tatum and Co. were treated to a little pack love on November 6th. Having overthrown the Celtics in an overtime win, the Timberwolves took home the win with a 114-109 victory.

Mazzulla had remarked later that it was the Wolves’ defensive toughness that outmatched them. Echoing the same sentiment JB said tonight, Minnesota’s coach had also said then that Edwards thrives in “big game” moments. Anyway, Jaylen Brown was having none of that this time around. And it showed!
