During the recent podcast Mitchell said,? Not everybody’s Kyrie you know what I’m saying Kyrie is a special human being you know what I’m saying like not everybody’s Kyrie with the basketball. He emphasized that every player does not have to copy the super abilities of Kyrie Irving, because all the ways are different and it is better to move towards the self-perfection than early stardom.

They also discussed the high school period as being a very critical stage in a youth?s development and that coaching comes in very vital for the same. Mitchell asserted that it is imperative to inculcate key skills and values during this formative phase and noted that one day he wishes to coach high school?s basketball team.

Mitchell’s Humble Reflections on Retirement

Although Donovon?s current career is booming in the NBA, he talked about a matter that constantly hangs over the heads of professional athletes; retirement. In an interview in 2022, Mitchell was modest about the notion of the Utah Jazz retiring his uniform. He had successful seasons that involved deep playoff runs but still was convinced that he didn?t accomplish enough to get such a reward.
