The Phoenix Suns may have one of the most talented lineups in the league this year. Apart from boasting three All-Stars, the Suns have formidable players on their roster, each with a certain skill they excel at. Despite having so much talent on a team, one would think that handling the player’s ego would be a task. But the former teammate of Giannis Antetokounmpo puts another spin on it.

The Phoenix Suns managed to form a new big three of their own this offseason. With the addition of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal to play alongside Devin Booker, this Suns’ player believes that having so much talent gives them an unprecedented advantage.

During a post-game interview with the press, Allen said, I feel like we can throw a lot of different lineups out. It doesn’t really matter to me; it’s not a pride thing to start the game.”

Allen’s confession came when he was asked about his views on getting the fifth spot on the starting five versus coming off the bench for the team. Undoubtedly, he believes his humble take on earning his spot is heartwarming to see, and maybe with this humility he can turn things around for the Suns this year!

The Suns may go all the way

The Phoenix Suns have come out swinging right from the preseason, winning three out of their first four matchups. Not just that, the Suns coaching staff took this opportunity to try out and experiment with new lineups.

Given that the Suns have a new big three, the coaching staff still has to make the most of the rest of the players on the squad. Given that all three All-Stars cannot be on the floor all the time, head coach Frank Vogel needs to make some tough decisions.

Whether Grayson Allen will start for the Suns or not is still a mystery. However, it is nice to see that the players are willing to put their egos aside and work together selflessly in order to win the franchise their first-ever NBA championship.
