LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are three of the most dominant players to ever step foot inside an NBA court. But the terrific trio have completely different playing styles. While The Greek Freak has a similar skillset as a Young LeBron with his insane athleticism and physical presence, Stephen Curry humiliates his opponents with his alien-like shooting ability and court vision.

So, it came as a surprise when Giannis Antetokounmpo’s ex-teammate drew an uncanny comparison between Giannis and LeBron regarding an area that has been pioneered by the Warriors legend Stephen Curry.

Giannis’ former teammate Jeff Teague was discussing Drake’s latest album, “For All the Dogs” on an episode of the Club 520 Podcast. While Drake’s latest release was a huge hit among the fans, retired rapper Joe Budden did not seem to like Drake’s new style of music. Budden let his dissatisfaction known to the world, stirring a huge debate about Drake’s latest creation. While addressing the issue, Jeff Teague brought up an example of LeBron James as to how he can try anything new because he is so good at what he does, just like Drake.

Teague believes LeBron can easily score 30 points in every game if he decides to drive to the basket every time. He also made an uncanny comparison with his former teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo because The Greek Freak never adopted the three-pointer and focused on dominating inside the paint. “Nobody told Giannis to start shooting threes,” Teague said.

Players like LeBron and Giannis can do whatever they want because they have achieved a certain level of greatness and respect. According to Teague, Giannis does not need to improve his three-pointer, an area that is Stephen Curry’s forte.

Giannis might adopt new skills at LeBron’s age

When King James was young, his game was more like The Greek Freak. The NBA had never seen an athlete like LeBron, and he used his massive build and insane athleticism to dominate the game inside the paint. The 4-time Champion hardly relied on his three-point shot during his Cleveland and Miami days.

But with Father Time catching up to the legend, LeBron has improved his three-pointers significantly and can be constantly seen pulling up from the logo, much like his long-time rival Chef Curry.

Giannis might have to use the same tactic when he gets older. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar is only 28 years old and in the prime of his career. So, he can rely completely on his athleticism and strength during the game. But as he gets older, he might have to add the three-point shot to his game, if he wants to elongate his Hall of Fame career.
