Every year, the former LA Lakers superstar hosts an annual summer vacation. He and his wife Cookie have celebrated these summers on his 296-foot Phoenix 2 Superyacht, which is worth $150 million. They continued the tradition this year as well. They are on the move around Europe alongside 12 guests and seven cabins.
During the summer, he has visited places like Greece, France, and Italy. In Italy, three weeks ago, the legendary Point Guard traveled with Michael Jordan, Samuel L. Jackson, and Judge Greg Mathis. The famous personalities came with their wives as a part of the annual couples’ trip. Things couldn’t be more jolly in the fantastic yacht as the photos show.

To continue his red-hot summer, the passing maestro went to Myrtos Bay on Kefalonia Island, Greece. The Guard shared on Instagram, ”I got my jet ski on for a few hours this morning in Myrtos Bay on Kefalonia Island, Greece. There is no greater thrill for me than being out on the water and seeing some beautiful coastlines, especially in a country like Greece.”

The Ionian sea looks picturesque in the videos as a beaming Johnson takes out his jet-ski. In a beautiful photo, his mega yacht is seen in the background as he heads to the waters for some skiing. This is the surface of the fun that the former Lakers Point Guard has had throughout the summer.

Amidst these beautiful sceneries, Johnson has also actively given basketball takes and a week ago, praised his former team’s GM Rob Pelinka.
Johnson loves the Lakers’ chances
Talking to the LA Times, the Europe-loving personality shared his thoughts on the moves LeBron James‘ Lakers made during the offseason, “I think he followed it up with another outstanding job, first from the trade deadline, and then he kept it going in the summer. He did better than anybody in the summer. All the moves he made, he was the No. 1 GM in the NBA this offseason. No question about it. All the guys that we signed will help LeBron and the other guys because now we are deeper. Rob is going to be Executive of the Year.”
