“I would say, one of my good friends, Mardy Fish, has a story out on Untold. He’s a top-tier tennis prospect coming through; him and Andy Roddick were kind of neck and neck as the one and two in the US from tennis representation perspective. It speaks through a lot of different themes. One just handling expectations you put on yourself and others put on you”, said Curry during the podcast.

He then talks about the various takeaways, like finding out yourself and staying true to it in the documentary. Interestingly, the Warriors superstar also asserts that the film reveals some whole new aspects of Fish’s career. These aspects were unknown to Steph despite knowing the tennis legend for more than a decade.

Fish faced a major heartbreak in 2004, and this left a huge dent in his life. Despite being the favorite, Fish lost the 2004 Gold Medal match at the Summer Olympics to Nicolas Massu of Chile.

This defeat left him so heartbroken, he never returned to the Olympics. The documentary also covers the impact this had on Fish’s mental health and how he coped with it.
