9 Months After $6,000,000 Singer’s Tribute-bar, Kevin Durant Opens Up On Feelings For Her

Notably, Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant has maintained great relationships with many artists in the past, especially the Canadian rapper, Drake. However, KD recently expressed his feelings for a singer, who once impressed the baller after she gave him a tribute in one of her songs.

Unlike other superstars of the game, Durant never expresses much about his feelings. Once in a while, the 12x NBA All-Star takes to his social media to express his feelings in a passing line. Similarly, while replying to a fan’s request, he revealed about the $6 million rich singer on his social media. Apart from that, he also resorts to interviews and podcasts once in a while to express himself to the fans.

Nine months ago, the 33-year-old singer-songwriter, SZA, impressed Kevin Durant with her song lyrics. In the alum, SOS, released in December, she gave a shout to the baller. The lyrics read, “I’m pressin’ n**gas like KD, it’s up.” Following that, the Suns superstar expressed his feeling about the lyrics in a podcast. He spoke about how cool it is for some artist his use his name in the lyrics. He said, “[It’s cool] every time. Don’t matter if it’s from a new artist that just came out yesterday, or f***ing SZA, yeah.”

Following that, Durant again took to his X handle and expressed his feelings for her in a tweet while replying to a fan. A fan made a special request regarding one of KD’s former signature shoe lines, the Nike KD IV. The fan’s tweet read, “@KDTrey5 Big Homie please talk to @Nike and bring back the KD IV.” The star replied saying, “Now I know how sza felt before the album dropped.”

While there isn’t any clarity on what Durant actually meant, the tweet was enough to erupt the fans in the comments.

Apart from SZA, KD maintained a notable relationship with Drake. Despite their friendship, the duo once had a heated moment during an NBA game.

In a 2016 game between the Toronto Raptors and Dubs, Drake cheered for his home team from the courtside. Moreover, he tried to intimidate Kevin Durant amidst the game. However, KD gave a perfect reply, dropping 35 points and clinching the game with a 127-121 record. Moreover, KD gave a perfect reply to Drake who had come down to the arena for a special night where the team honored the global ambassador, reported Bleacher Report. During the postgame interview, KD said, “Drake taunted Durant during game. After, KD glared at him and said, “I don’t give a damn about no damn Drake night.”
