The crossover between sports icons is always a sight to behold for lovers of the games around the world. The duo met 9 months after the soccer icon paid tribute to the Dallas Mavericks superstar’s 60-21-10 game.

The Madrid player revealed his love for the game of basketball and Luka with his efforts toward the end of last year. This time around, the NBA All-Star paid it back with his heartwarming gesture.

Toni Kroos recently caught up with Doncic as they shared a light-hearted moment in the presence of Kroos’ children. The 2014 World Cup winner requested the point guard to sign his son’s shoes during the interaction. Luka fulfilled the midfielder’s wish as he put his signature on the kid’s shoes.

They exchanged a few more words afterward as they shared laughs soon before the Slovenian left. This caught the attention of the sports world, especially because Toni had already declared himself as Doncic’s admirer. After the 24-year-old broke the record with his 60-21-10 performance last year, the Real Madrid icon paid a tribute.

Luka pulled off a remarkable display against the New York Knicks in December to become the first player with 60-20-10. Days after that, Kroos celebrated his birthday with a 4-time All-Star-themed cake. It showcased the connection between those two as it became public yet again recently.
