The Denver Nuggets aren’t one of those teams that have had numerous big names play for the organization. However, there have been some who left more than a mark on the city of Denver with their skills on the court. But what Nikola Jokic has been able to accomplish in nine years with the Denver Nuggets is way more impressive than any other accomplishment. After winning a title with a team for the first time, Jokic is joining its legends now. According to NBA data analyst Jake Coyne, Nikola Jokic joins David Thompson and Carmelo Anthony as the only players in Nuggets history to score 30+ points against all of Denver’s possible opponents while in a Nuggets uniform.”

Jokic was able to achieve this feat after the team’s most recent win over the Toronto Raptors. The Nuggets won the game, 113-104. And Nikola Jokic led the way once again with 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists for the game.

Though the entire starting lineup finished the game with double-digit points, Jamal Murray’s 20-point performance helped the team overcome the Raptors and Scottie Barnes’ double-double.

The Denver Nuggets have had players like Alex English and Dan Issel to name a few who have left their mark on the franchise. These two players still lead the Nuggets in multiple statistics for the team.

But even after spending an entirety with the Nuggets, neither one of these players could bring the team its first NBA championship. And Nikola Jokić was able to do so in about nine years.

Jokic has already become the franchise leader in assists, defensive rebounds, triple-doubles, and more. If Jokic were to finish his career with Denver, then there is a strong chance that he might end up surpassing Carmelo Anthony, David Thompson, Alex English, and many more of those names in numerous feats.
