The New York Knicks got a decent start in their 2023-24 NBA campaign. The team competed against some of the toughest franchises and manufactured crucial wins. The Knicks are in a brilliant spot amidst a three-game winning streak and set to play the In-Season quarter-final against the Milwaukee Bucks. Hours before the crucial knockout game, cameras spotted Knicks duo Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart cooling off at Madison Square Garden (MSG).
The NBA world gets the rare off day following Thanksgiving. This is one of the two holidays scheduled by the league, keeping the In-season tournament in mind. As the Knockout stages are set to kick-start from Monday night, the league dedicated a day off for all 30 teams to take a breather. The second off is on 10th December, a day after the Championship game.

MSG is the usual place where the Knicks players dance on the court amid the cheering New Yorkers. Especially this year, the team has gone off to a flying start, holding the fifth seed with a 12-7 record, out of which 6 wins came off the home court.
Moreover, MSG isn’t home only for the Knicks franchise. It has been a home turf for the NHL team, the New York Rangers as well. While the fans are used to witnessing the Knicks duo, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart on the court, however, on this occasion, the Knicks duo was on the other side, cheering for the Rangers.
It’s a rare sight to spot the NBA stars in the crowd amid their busy season. Thanks to the rare off day, we got to see the former Villanova Wildcats cheering on New York’s hockey team.

Notably, Hart and Brunson have been teammates since their college. They both played for the Villanova Wildcats, alongside Mikal Bridges.

Moreover, the Knicks duo are hours away from their quarter-final clash in Milwaukee. So the Stars might have to rush after the Rangers game. Before that let’s find out about the Knicks’ road to the knockout stage in the tournament.
The Knicks road to the Knockout stage
The Knicks are one of the two teams that found their way into the Knock-out stage through wildcard entry. The other team is the Phoenix Suns. The NY side won three out of their four group-stage games with a steady point differential of 42, which is far better than some of the directly qualified teams. On the other hand, the Bucks swept all four group-stage games and have a point differential of 46 points. The Knicks have already lost once against the Bucks in the league stage. Will they turn it around in the quarter-finals? Only time will tell.
