Over the last few weeks,?Coach Prime?Deion Sanders has taken college football by storm The head coach of the college team, Colorado Buffaloes, made a striking presence wherever he went. Especially with his hat and shades. Importantly, his team won the recently instate battle against the Colorado State Rams, powered with a lot of hype before the game. However, it didn’t save him in the Saturday night game against the Oregon Ducks and NBA star Trae Young took a sly dig at him for his previous statement.

It’s not just the Atlanta Hawks star who followed the college level football from the NBA world. NBA superstar LeBron James has also been closely following the games. Nonetheless, the only difference is, 4x NBA Champion is a staunch supporter of Sanders. Notably, he recently took to his social media to extend his support.

After the dramatic victory against the State Rams, the Buffs took on the Ducks in the Saturday clash. Unlike their previous outing, the Buffs couldn’t dominate their opponent, instead they succumbed to a humiliating loss. The Ducks registered a 42-6, taking the internet by storm. Following the game, Deion Sanders’ team faced a lot of backlash, especially from the Ducks’ coach Dan Lanning. During the press meet, he said, he doesn’t remember the Buffs winning anything.

Following him, Trae Young took to his X, formerly known as Twitter, and took a dig at Sanders. He wrote,?“Colorado not believing today..,”?reminding Sanders of his statement after beating Texas Christian University in a close 45-42 game. After the game, he targeted an?ESPN?writer Ed Werder in the press conference and said, “Do you believe now?”?

 

However, Ed Werder knocked off the conversation, saying,?“In what?”?In return, Sanders dismissed the writer’s response and said,?“He doesn?t believe. Next question,”?reported?Sports Illustrated.

Sanders donned the Dallas Cowboys jersey from 1995-99. Whereas on the other hand, Werder worked as a beat writer for ESPN, covering the Cowboys. While there isn?t clarity on why Sanders went salty with Werder. Following that the duo went off on social media as well.
