Is Tyrese Haliburton the best thing to happen to Indy sports in recent years?

After securing Gold in Paris, Tyrese Haliburton is on a break, and the point guard is loving it. This break also coincides with the NFL’s regular season kick-off, and what would be a better combination than to enjoy a football game? The Pacer recently attended the NFL game between the Texans and Colts and was there to support Indianapolis. Unfortunately, the Colts lost the tight affair (27-29). However, there was no exemption from Haliburton while cheering, as he did it in his own unique way.

The clip of Tyrese Haliburton and Pat McAfee from the stands is going viral on X. The Colts’ X handle themselves shared the same, captioning it, “riding the gameday roller coaster. 🎢” It was evident from the clip how passionately Haliburton was supporting his team. The point guard swirled his hands while shouting, “Let’s go!!” enthusiastically. However, an aspect that we might have missed during his cheer was his voice change.

In February this year, Haliburton showcased his speaking abilities on The Pat McAfee Show. While Tyrese Haliburton was answering the question about the Pacers’ newfound success, his intonation changed. Pat noticed the change in the voice of the 2x NBA All-Star as he chimed in to say, “You have two different voices!” Haliburton replied, “I do. People say that all the time!”

But the Indiana guard admitted that he was not aware of the transition in voice or when it happened. “I never catch it. You know, I watch [my podcast appearances] after and I’m like, ‘Dang, my voice changed.’” So, is it possible to check if Tyrese Haliburton cheered for the Colts in two voices or not? Nevertheless, fans did love his enthusiasm for the NFL team!

Fans left in awe after a crossover saw Tyrese Haliburton and an NFL critic cheering for the Colts!

The fans could not complain but feel all the energy that Tyrese Haliburton was bringing with his encouraging cheer. One netizen hailed the 24-year-old as the best supporter of Indianapolis, commenting, “Best cheerleader in Indy! Supports all our teams.”

Have an interesting take?

Actually, it is not just the Colts that Tyrese Haliburton supports. The Pacers guard recently supported Indiana Fever‘s rookie Caitlin Clark at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the LA Sparks on September 4. The positive vibe and undying passion from 2x NBA All-Star surely played a factor in the Fever’s victory, ultimately by 93-86.

Another Haliburton fan seemed to be mad at the Colts’ performance against the Texans. He did not want the hooper to be a victim of such bad influence, as he commented, “Get him out of there before your cancerous organization’s curse infects him.” The Pacers guard is coming off a season averaging just above 20 points, alongside 3.9 rebounds and 10.9 assists. No wonder fans will go crazy if anything happens to his surreal performances on the NBA hardwood as the Pacers eye a key season of growth in the Eastern Conference.

Watching athletes from different sports supporting each other’s game is a unique kind of adrenaline. The same feeling might have gone through the mind of a fan as he commented, “Love to see crossovers.” And it’s true whenever these players feature, they catch headlines. Like recently, Stephen Curry and their wife, Ayesha Curry, attended the US Open final to support Jessica Pegula.

One of the fans just loved the vibes that Tyrese Haliburton was oozing as he commented, “Now this is how you watch a game lol.” And it was right! Though the Colts did not deliver their best, the Pacers guard extended his best support to the team from the sidelines.

What do you all think? Was Haliburton’s over-enthusiasm justifiable, considering the performance of the Colts? Let us know in the comments.
