The Golden State Warriors traded their point guard, Jordan Poole this summer to the Washington Wizards. This move surprised many since he is a young and talented player with a lot of potential. Additionally, he signed a four-year contract extension with the Warriors worth $123 million in October 2022. So, where exactly did it go wrong? Some believe it was the incident with Draymond Green last year. Were the tensions between them too much that the management decided to step in? Guess we will never know.?
The reality right now is Poole playing for the Washington Wizards starting this season. And someone seems to think that it is now his time to shine.?
A chance for Jordan to flaunt his skills

Kevin Garnett and Tony Squares discussed Jordan Poole’s move to Washington on SHOWTIME Basketball. They brought in some important aspects about Poole?s time with Warriors. ?Last year Jordan got up about 15 shots a game, occasionally 20 points a game. And that was with being the fourth option in the Golden State. And that was with all the chemistry issues and of the stuff gone wrong with him and being in a mindset that probably was not best for those games?, Tony pointed out. He believes that now, away from all of that, the 24 year old has some real chance to shine.?

KG added his perspective by saying, ?Jordan Poole is the new James Harden.? He drew an analogy to the time when James left Oklahoma City Thunder for the Houston Rockets in 2012. He explained that after this was when the world could see real sportsmanship of James. He flourished with the team and became one of the most dominant offensive players in NBA history. Harden even led the Rockets to the playoffs for eight consecutive seasons.

Garnett believes that this is the perfect opportunity for Poole to step in and fill the gap left by Beal. He is convinced that Jordan, along with Kyle Kuzma, have the power to be a powerful duo in the league. This, he says, is because the two have some real flair and sportsmanship. Will Jordan be able to finally step out of the Steph Curry shadow and show his skill. We will find out on October 25th as the Wizards take on the Indiana Pacers for their opening game of the regular season.?
