Anthony Edwards is truly something else. The Denver Nuggets with the home-court advantage were favorites to win Game 7. Nikola Jokic and Co. were hoping for a repeat of last season when the Wolves tied the series in the last game. Unfortunately, the outcome was not what the Ball Arena expected. The TWolves defeated the ‘Mile High City’ 98-90 with dominant performances from every single player on the court.

As much as an explosive guard that the Ant-Man is, the 22-year-old is just as fun to watch. His hyped interaction with the crowd and fans only adds to the rugged charm that’s part of his character. One such instance happened during the fourth quarter, with 3 minutes left on the clock. Edwards was excitedly engaging with a fan courtside when he saw an equally excited old man.

Looking straight at him, the 2x All-Star asked, “where you at, ni**a?” The fact that it was a white old man only added to the intensity of the moment. Watching the wholesome interaction has fans on X fall even more in love with Anthony Edwards. One such appreciative fan commented, “No way,” followed by three skull emojis. “Anthony Edwards please never get pr training .. top 5 nba player and he’s not 5”

There is no doubt that tonight would be one of those moments that the old man would never forget. Fans on Twitter, though, are so not over the whole situation!

Fans are “obsessed” with Anthony Edwards and his ‘Where you at ni**a?’ comment

Comments are flooding X from every corner, as is their love and support. This one user finds it hard to get over the incredulity of the instance. “did he say “where you at ni**a?” to that white man?” followed by crying and laughing with tears in eyes emojis. obsessed with anthony edwards.”

Can’t fault the poor woman now, can you? Watching Anthony Edwards be his confident, outspoken, and wholesome self, especially when there wasn’t even the slightest undertone of malice, is a little too much to not obsess. Another fan can’t hold his laughter at all. Or at least, that’s what he is trying to convey with his comment; interjecting a bunch of laughing emojis after every sentence. “Bruh was yellin at an ild white dude on the side lines, *emojis,*bruh was yellin “ where you at NI**A” to that old ass dude *emojis,* im copping his jersey quick.”

There is no doubt that Edwards’ jersey sale is going to go through the roof after that stunt! In fact, here is another admirer with the same feelings about Ant-Man’s jersey. ““Where you at ni**a!” To an old white man lmao – AntMan Getting a jersey TOMORROW!!!” There you go.

That’s two jerseys already. The appreciation of these fans for the occurrence and the lighthearted comments are simply wonderful. Then again, the person who said those words is also probably responsible for such comments. Imagine if it was Kyrie Irving who said this in the same spirit, tone, and energy. Let’s not go there for now and keep the good vibes flowing, yes?
